When social and environmental not-for-profit organisation Do Something decided to set up a local community services directory, Dan stepped in and took the lead. Because this site needed lots of room to grow, Code4 was excited to use App Engine, the latest cloud-hosting technology from Google, which provides an efficient and highly-scalable platform. Upon its launch it saw 10,000 visits in the first week alone and is still evolving with new features and content is added regularly as more and more community organisations get involved in this great project.
